Gala FAQs

FAQs - Heschel Gala 2019

1. What is a Gala?

The Gala is a Saturday night, fundraising party. It is an opportunity to dress up and enjoy an evening out without your children. There will be delicious food, dancing, and drinking and it is for individuals 21 and older.

2.  What should I wear?

The invitation calls for chic après ski attire. WHAT KIND OF ATTIRE IS THAT- you ask? Sweater dresses, winter whites, khakis or black slacks, or dressy jeans will all work at this Alpine Village!

4. How should I support the event if I can't attend?

All proceeds of the Gala go directly to the students. If you cannot attend, please sponsor a teacher, purchase an auction item, or make a donation to the event. www.heschel.com/gala.

5. How does the silent auction work?  Can I bid on something if I'm not there?

The silent auction will open a few days before the event. You can bid on the items, whether or not you are attending the event. The auction closes at 9:30 January 26th.  If you are a winning bidder and are not present at the event, you will have to provide a credit card online and can then pick up your item at Heschel.
