View the Online Gallery of our Students' Art in Response to The David Labkovski Project

Heschel was honored and excited to be part of the David Labkovski Project. This project allowed our 8th grade students a unique opportunity to learn about the Holocaust through the art of one man while strengthening their research, writing, and analytical skills. Students also wrote poetry and created art in response to David’s work. By looking at the world through the eyes of David Labkovski, students learned about history, morality, and the power of love and hate.
