Heschel Day School is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of a dedicated and diversified group of individuals committed to the school's mission and goals. The Board is responsible for the financial stability and the financial future of the school while engaging in strategic planning.
The goal of our Board is to uphold the value of L'dor v'dor, from generation to generation, mindful that the decisions made today will benefit not only our children, but their children and grandchildren as well.
The Heschel Day School Parent Organization is the volunteering body that focuses on reinforcing the natural sense of an extended family feel within our Heschel community and providing additional financial support for school endeavors.
Through its activities, the Parent Organization facilitates social interaction among families, support and recognition of faculty, and parent education. Events such as the Heschel Boutique, the Book Fair, and the New Family Mentor Program encourage our families to develop and strengthen friendships. Mitzvah Day involves both students and parents in community service projects to assist those outside our school.
"Whoever teaches his son teaches not alone his son but also his son's son, and so on to the end of generations."
